Job Description

Litigation SolicitorSwansea £38k+ plus bonus and benefitsI am looking for a Solicitor with experience in any area of litigation to join a small team and firm in Swansea. Working within a busy yet laid back environment you will be commercially minded and have exposure to civil/commercial litigation work.This role would suit an NQ or junior lawyer but any interest local lawyers in particular are welcomed If you currently work in claims or civil lit I want to hear from you. This is one of the best roles i have taken all year working for a great client who is a joy to deal with.This is what youll be doingWorking in a team that

  • Manages a large amount of litigation cases
  • Dealing with complex cases / technical cases
  • Growing and thereafter managing a team of junior fee earners
  • Have an input into the future of the firm
  • Liaising with the sister company
The experience youll bring to the team
  • A qualified Lawyer with any level of post qualification experience
  • Experienced in small claims and multitrack litigation or financial services litigation
  • A knowledge of Plevin Claims and the law around this is desirable but not essential
  • Competent user of Microsoft Office software and case management system
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Entrepreneurial and commercially savvy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
