Job Description

HR Administrator Fixed Term ContractSwansea or CarmarthenThis role is a 3 month fixed term contract with the potential to be extended. The organisation is a high profile business, well respected with sites in Wales and the UK. Working from home initially, you will have the choice to work out of either the Swansea or Carmarthen office when blended working resumes. You will join a welcoming team known for their friendliness and will enjoy a key role in providing HR support to the HR team. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Manage all aspects of recruitment admin
  • Check and issue contracts of employment ensuring all compliance, eligibility to work in the UK
  • Advise on HR queries, such as policies
  • Monitor and track attendance with a specific focus on sickness absence
  • Advise and support line managers on absence
  • Maintain HR documents and records
  • Manage HR correspondence such as contracts, regret letters and appointment confirmations
  • Ensure HR audits comply with policies and procedures
  • Assist with pension administration
  • We are looking for a confident, proactive individual, with excellent communication skills, someone who has -
  • Experience of providing HR support to managers
  • Strong HR administrative skills
  • Understands confidentiality in the workplace
  • Is well organised, enjoys working from home within a virtual team environment and has the ability to prioritise their workload
  • Excellent IT skills, comfortable with using Excel spreadsheets and has a sound understanding of systems
