Care Assistant/Support WorkerHere at BS Social Care, were looking for a reliable and passionate person to help support a couple lovely services here in Neath.You could be working in 1 of 4 services so youll be able to have a different scene each shift! There can be anywhere from 3-6 residents in each home. You will be providing support for adults with Autism/Learning Disabilities so there may sometimes be challengingbehaviours presented.Your duties in the homes will include taking the residents out in the community which will be 2-1, joining in on activities in the homes such as cooking, doing laundry, cleaning, making sandwiches and providing support with their daily routines in the homes,Overall helping skill build in and around the homes. There will be some requirements of person care, supporting with teeth brushing, showering etc.What we are looking for:First Aid TrainingPBM TrainingGood Communication SkillsDBS online would be ideal but not essential!We also offer free training within the company so any out-of-date training is still acceptable as we can do refresher courses in which you will receive your training certificate to keep with no hidden fees!Successful candidates will have great communication, organisational and interpersonal skills as well as initiative to help the amazing teams of staff in this service. They will also need to be patient and caring.
