Job Description

ADECCO are recruiting for a Faade Design Manager for their client in Swansea.Full time - Permanent - Salary DOEProgression OpportunitiesExcellent opportunity for an experienced Design Manager to join a well-established fenestration and curtain walling company!Would also suit an experienced Architectural Technologist with a good understanding of Curtain wall, windows and doorsThe Role:

  • Produce technical drawings and cost-effective AutoCAD design proposals
  • Work closely alongside clients to understand design requirements and discuss technical details via telephone and email
  • Produce high end technical drawings and AutoCAD design proposals
  • Confidently read and understand technical drawings
  • Attend internal and external meetings to discuss project requirements
  • Support shop floor team with technical queries
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Excellent knowledge of curtain walling, faade or glazing experience
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Experience working with Revit or BIM an advantage but not essential
  • Good understanding of building construction, methods & regulations
  • Good understanding of BS standards relating to the design and workings of window, door, and curtain-walling systems
  • Excellent eye for detail and accuracy
  • Able to work independently, as well as part of a design team
