Job PurposeProvide leadership, direction and support to a team of staff in NEBOSH, Health & Safety, Hospitality & Catering (Food Safety) coordinating activity to ensure high quality provision for learners and employers.Co-ordinating curriculum that is employer focused and in demand ensuring high levels of quality, excellent customer service and innovation to support growth within the sectors.Lead with vision, talent and passion to drive the business forward commercially whilst carrying a reduced case load of learners. Lead a team of talented staff to ensure financial and quality targets are achieved, to include the active monitoring of key performanceindicators to promote and achieve a high level of performance and productivity. Lead activity relating to all internal verification, quality assurance and quality improvement for sectors within the commercial area.Actively research and identify new curriculum and business opportunities to support growth. Work closely with employers to identify skills shortages and skills gaps to drive existing and new training courses that are relevant to local, regional and nationalpriorities.In liaison with the Office Manager, closely monitor and improve the key performance indicators of enrolment, attendance, retention and attainment (successful completion) to include main qualification and all additional qualifications e.g. essential/key skills.Ensure all awarding organisation / examination board requirements are fully met for all main and additional qualifications.The successful candidate will provide leadership, direction and support to a team of staff in NEBOSH, Health & Safety, Hospitality & Catering (Food Safety) coordinating activity to ensure high quality provision for learners and employers.You will lead, motivate and inspire a team of Trainers, Tutor Assessors and IVs to drive the business forward commercially whilst actively researching and identifying new curriculum and business opportunities to support growth.You will possess occupational competence and a NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma.Ideally you will possess the A1 Assessor Award and/or V1 Internal Verifiers award and a recognised Teaching and Learning qualification e.g. PGCE or be willing to work towards and have knowledge of digital qualifications.Important NoticeDovetail and Slate is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, applicants and clients to share this commitment.This role may involve work with under 18s or vulnerable adults.
