Job Description

Our FirmWe are a Swansea based general practice firm with proven success and growth, that require a Qualified or Part Qualified Audit and Accounts Senior to join our dynamic team. The desire to work with various members of staff collaboratively, with the opportunityto work on a varied portfolio of clients which include accounts, audit, personal and corporate taxes.Responsibilities

  • Planning and completion of audit requirements through substantive and analytical audit procedures
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements
  • Arrangement of on-site meetings at clients premises
  • Use of knowledge and judgment to highlight any potential high level risk area or matters of concern to relevant members of staff
Candidate requirementsEssential:
  • Experience within accountancy practice
  • Experience working on audits
  • Sound IT knowledge and skills, notably Microsoft Excel
  • Good level of understanding of accounting standards
Desirable
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or ACCA/ACA part qualified
  • To have some knowledge of Mercia audit packs and Sage line 50 accounts
  • Good attention to detail
  • A keen interest in the developing yourself and others
  • Ability to work to deadlines, under pressure
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report writing skills
