Job Description

Business Development Manager Location: Swanscombe, Kent, DA10 0PPSalary: Competitive, DOEContract: Full time, PermanentHours: Monday - Friday, 8.00 am to 5.00 pmLancebox are a demolition, strip out and asbestos removal specialist primarily operating within London and the South-East.Due to continued growth and expansion we are looking to recruit a talented, experienced and out-going business development manager or marketing professional to complement our dedicated and experienced team.Based near Greenhithe, Kent with a heritage spanning over 30 years we are a family run business with a laid-back environment where being part of a team has been the model for our success.The role - Business Development Manager:

  • New project lead generation with both new and existing contractors
  • Securing new client / project opportunities with landowners, council frameworks using internal / external marketing databases and portals
  • Developing external relationships with both new and existing clients / contractors
  • Identification of new markets to promote the Lancebox portfolio of services:
  • Develop and manage the company marketing strategy and collateral (e.g post-tender interview presentations, project sheets, email marketing campaigns) via brochures, website SEO strategy and e-marketing platforms such as twitter and linkedIn
    • Responsibilities will involve but not be exclusive to the following;
  • Managing the pipeline of tender opportunities from both new and existing clients
  • Taking ownership of all tender submissions from enquiry to contract sign off
  • Follow up of tender submissions via phone or visits obtaining client feedback
  • PQQ submissions (including technical and quality questions)
  • Monitoring public procurement portals
  • Manage and develop internal databases
  • Collating testimonials and case study data from clients for projects undertaken
  • Managing project handovers from pre-construction to operations
    • About You: You may be a marketing professional with business development experience or a business development manager with marketing experience, either way if you have an outgoing personality and are a team player with the ability to help drive our business forward, we would like to hear from you!Essential Competencies and Qualities Required:
  • Minimum 2 years business development essential
  • Minimum 2 years marketing experience essential
  • Construction experience preferred but not essential
  • A great working competency in Microsoft Office; Word, Power Point, Excel etc.
  • Good working knowledge in WordPress CMS and Database Management
  • Must be confident in Social Media Management and delivery
  • Experience working with Photoshop
  • Must have a full driving license
