Job Description

Technical Project Manager - Kent - Permanent - £45 - £55kMy Client is an SME in the Property Industry. They pride themselves on being a few steps ahead of their competitors with their technical offerings and with that in mind they have kicked off a multi-year project to completely innovate and replace their existing Client offering and require a dedicated, Full-time, Permanent, experienced Technical Project Manager to manage this complex Project.The role would require you to be office based at least 2 days a week with the remaining 3 days being flexible, therefore it is an essential requirement for you to reside within a 30minute commute of Swanley in Kent (J3 on M25). I am expecting to be inundated with candidates for this role so I will discount those who do not show their full home address to be within the 30minute commute time. If you are planning to relocate - please give explicit details of when and where.Essential Experience required (non negotiable/ see above)

  • Minimum 5 years experience project managing systems development and integration projects in complex environments.
  • Demonstrable, strong skills in managing 3rd party software vendors and comfortable holding them to account for delivery and cost.
  • A good understanding of modern software engineering practices and their use in commercial platforms.
  • Familiar with agile software development lifecycle methodologies.
  • Experience working in smaller organisations where deadlines are tight and resources are limited.
  • Driven and self-motivated. Able to push a project forward and overcome obstacles without daily supervision.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate clearly with senior management, vendors and clients.
  • Highly organised and familar with tools such as DropBox and Trello.

  • In addition to the above it would be advantageous for candidates to hold a recognised project management qualification from a professional body such as the PMI or PRINCE2.
