Job Description

GOLDHAWK ASSOCIATES - JOB VACANCYManagement Accountant - PortfolioBased at:North KentReporting To: Financial ControllerRole Summary: The successful candidate will play an instrumental role in supporting our Financial Controller by managing a diverse portfolio of projects.Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Monthly management account preparations and reviews.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant programs and procedures.
  • Overseeing tax payments, VAT, PAYE, and other financial returns.
  • Managing statutory audit processes.
  • Contributing to the continuous development of the finance function.
Desired Experience & Knowledge:
  • Minimum 1 year of post-qualified experience.
  • Mastery of management and statutory accounting.
  • Experience in a compliance-focused environment.
  • Skilled in identifying and analysing complex legislative or policy issues.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Excellent communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
  • Capability to handle pressure and adhere to strict deadlines.
Personal Attributes:
  • High professional standards and integrity.
  • Teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
  • Confidence in addressing non-compliance.
Qualifications:
  • Must be a qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) and hold a current membership with a recognized accounting body.
