Job Description

If you are an experienced RGNwith strong clinical management experience then this could be the role for you!What you will be doing:

  • Manage all clinical referrals ensuring information is cascaded and care plans/risk assessments are developed to meet the identified needs of individuals
  • Be responsible for clinical compliance in the home
  • To understand, comply and communicate the Companys Health and Safety and safeguarding adults policies
  • Report to the Home Manager any illnesses or accidents
  • To understand and ensure the implementation of Oakland Cares Health and Safety, COSHH and Infection Control
  • Oversee and ensure medication management is in line with regulatory requirements and the companies policies and procedures reviewing internal and external audits and agreeing with the Registered Manager action plans as necessary
  • Ensure the department is appropriately resourced with the right number of staff
  • Assisting staff through development opportunities
What you need to succeed:
  • RN/RGN Qualified with strong clinical and management experience within older peoples services
  • Previous experience of working in a similar role
  • Experience in the recruitment and retention of your own team/department
  • Experience of mentoring, leading and up-skilling direct reports as well as providing ongoing development
  • Proven track record of developing audits to demonstrate delivering of quality care
