Job Description

Credit ControllerLocation: Swanley, KentSalary: £135 - £165 (Day Rate)Are you looking to make your markOur client is in search of a proactive and detail-oriented Credit Controller Specialist to play a pivotal role in enhancing our clients credit control processes, resolving outstanding debt. They are in a stage of growth and are looking for a motivated professionalwho can make an impact.Responsibilities:

  • Follow up on outstanding debts, adhering to agreed payment terms and company policies.
  • Collaborate to escalate debt collection efforts when necessary.
  • Keep team informed promptly about any client queries or issues.
  • Resolve and follow up on queries until they are satisfactorily resolved within set time lines.
  • Maintain accurate records of all client interactions and activities in the system.
  • Take proactive measures to reduce overdue debt and unallocated cash.
  • Provide recommendations regarding credit limits as needed.
  • Ensure timely distribution of monthly statements to clients.
  • Verify and update debtor details on the system, including addresses and contact information.
Experience and Skills
  • Demonstrated expertise in credit control or a related field, showcasing a history of successful achievements.
  • Experience using Sage would be beneficial for this role.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, enabling adept navigation of intricate financial scenarios.
  • Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills, facilitating productive teamwork and client engagements.
  • Possess a deep understanding of credit control processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Embrace a detail-oriented approach, prioritising accuracy across all credit control tasks.
  • Proficient in intermediate Excel skills, leveraging spreadsheet functionalities for streamlined data management and analysis.
