Job Description

Lauriem Complete Care Ltd provide 24 hour background support in an Extra Care Housing Scheme in SWANLEY. We are currently looking for someone to join our Extra Care Sheltered Housing team as background support.Candidates will support and work with older people to remain living actively in their own apartment within an extra care scheme.The hours are from 9am-5pm on a 4 on / 4 off rota basis. The position also requires the sucessful candidate to be able to provide bank waking night to cover annual leave, staff sickness etc.The Role:

  • Working as part of our Background Support team responding to emergencies during the day/evening and ensuring the safety and security of the building.
  • The role will require administration and care duties.

    • Person Specification:
  • Previous care experience is essential
  • QCF/NVQ level 2 Health & Social Care (Adult) or equivalent required
  • Experience or capacity to understand and take account of the needs of vulnerable people.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to positively engage clients.
    • Employment is subject to proof of eligibility to work in the UK, a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure and 2 references. Required skills
