Job Description

Team Secretary Band 3 – 2 posts availablePost one: based at Borough Wide Services, The Woodlands, RotherhamPost two: based at South Locality Team, Swallownest Court, RotherhamWe are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic Team Secretary to join our Services. We provide frontline mental health services to people who are suffering from a severe mental health problem in the Community.The successful applicant will be reliable and able to provide a confidential, quality administration service to Borough Wide Services consisting of Crisis, Home Treatment and Hospital Liaison Team or the South Locality Team.A high standard of word processing is essential and you will be experienced in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and knowledge of Systmone would be a distinct advantage. Attention to detail is essential whilst working within the team and supporting colleagues.Applicants should have the ability to deal with people at all levels in a polite and professional manner and should possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Due to the nature of the service, you will be required to display tact and diplomacy when talking to service users and relatives and have an empathetic nature in difficult circumstances.You must be passionate about high quality patient care and accuracy whilst remaining calm under pressure.Applications are invited from persons who possess:

  • 3 GCSE Grade A-C or equivalent
  • RSA Stage II Typewriting (or equivalent word processing qualification)
