Clinical Psychologists Band 8aWe are currently looking to recruit 3 Highly Specialist Clinical Psychologists to cover the following vacancies within our Adult Mental Health Services in Rotherham:Clinical Psychologist: Locality Community Adult Mental Health Teams (2.0wte Band 8a)Clinical Psychologist: Rotherham CORE-24 Hospital Liaison Team (0.5wte Band 8a) This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing team of supportive, compassionate and value-driven Psychological Professions. They will be committed to the principles of recovery, have effective interpersonal and time management skills as well as being a responsive and motivated team player.Locality Community Adult Mental Health Teams: 37.5 (1.0wte) – 2 PostsBase: Swallownest Court or Ferham Clinic, RotherhamReports to: Service Manager/ Lead Clinical PsychologistThe North and South Locality Mental Health teams are each seeking to recruit a highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist, to work as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team offering a range of therapies and approaches, to clients with a diverse range of mental health issues. They offer a qualified clinical psychology service providing specialist psychological assessment and therapy as well as advice and consultation on clients’ psychological care to non-psychologist colleagues and other non-professional carers, working autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures.CORE-24 Hospital Liaison Team: 18.75 hours (0.5 wte)- 1 postBase: Woodlands, Rotherham District General HospitalThe Hospital Liaison team are also seeking to recruit a highly motivated, compassionate and dedicated Clinical Psychologist specialising in working with adults and older adults who have a range of complex mental health issues and present in an Acute Hospital Trust. Knowledge and experience in the field of medically unexplained symptoms, adjustment and dementia and delirium is desirable.The successful applicant will have Doctoral level training in clinical psychology and be HCPC registered as a practitioner psychologist.They will receive management supervision from the Service manager, and professional and clinical supervision from a Senior Clinical Psychologist.
