Job Description

Job Title: Project Architect / Project ManagerRate: £40,000 - £45,000Location: SurreyStart:ASAPThe company:My client is a 10+ person strong forward-thinking architectural practicebased in the stunning county of Surrey,that specialises inMid to High-End Residential. Due to expansion they are now seeking an experienced Project Architect / Project ManagerThey work throughout the building project from design through to planning and build on New builds, Extensions, Basements, Loft conversions, Interior refurbishments, and Renovations. Their company mission is to deliver a quality build through a stress-free process, ensuring a successful outcome for all stakeholders involved. I am looking for a qualified Project Architect who thrives on making things happen, ensuring that subcontractors deliver as agreed, ensuring that issues are pre-empted or resolved as soon as they arise and above all that customer expectations are met or even exceeded at all times. This candidate should have an enthusiastic get-it-done attitude and enjoys being the most efficient implementer on the block.Duties:

  • Full ownership for the entire construction project from start to finish.
  • Responsible to deliver project on time, on budget, to specification, happy clients.
  • Able to deliver a smooth process ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
  • Full ownership, coordination and management of subcontractors
  • Able to pre-empt or resolve any issues as they arise
  • Full ownership of client communication.
  • Responsible for the quality of works.
  • Ensure that milestones are delivered to schedule - Check and pass/ fail project milestones
  • Provide any architectural designs and drawings required during the build project
  • Deliver creative solutions to any challenges on site – construction or client base
  • Produce weekly progress reports – internally (Staff and subcontractors)
  • Produce weekly progress reports – externally (client weekly report)
