Job Description

Grafton Banks Finance are currently working with a fast growing business based in Sutton, Surrey to recruit Management Accountant on a full time permanent basis. Reporting into the Group Financial Controller you will be responsible for managing the monthend processes for the projects and business scheme lines including variance analysis of results, assisting with the delivery of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts and maintaining balance sheet reconciliationS.Duties and Responsibilities will include:

Managing the month end process for the projects
Reconciliations of balances and posting revenue costs accruals and deferral
Analysis of monthly business performance
Working with budget holders to ensure they understand and act on financial information provided
Maintaining internal revenue trackers (Excel-based).
Overseeing sales invoicing and requests for payment for Projects and ensuring working capital is optimised.
Monthly cashflow forecasting
Assist in the quarterly P&L forecasting and annual budgeting processes
Supporting the annual audit process with the provision of information as required.
Other ad hoc analysis and projects as required (e.g. upgrade of accounting systems).

The successful candidate will be ideally Part Qualified ( ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience with at least 2 years experience of management accounting. Strong Excel skills are essential including look-ups, pivot tables and analysis. You will nee tohave strong communication skills to be able transfer financial information to both finance and non-financial professionals across the business.
