Across the whole organisation there are a range of experts and practitioners who advocate for children and young people with special education needs and disabilities to ensure they receive the best possible opportunities to achieve their full potential.The Health & Safety Coordinator will work proactively as directed by the Head of Health & Safety to ensure a high level of H&S compliance is achieved across all the OHC&AT sites and activities, in order to support the teaching and learning within OHC&AT. This will include all Health and Safety streams, security and supporting H&S within curriculum based activities. The postholder will be required to work closely with the Estates team on joint projects to achieve common objectives, which will include forming strong working relationships with Premises Officers and all teams within individual sites.The postholder will have a recognised H&S qualification and knowledge of current Health & Safety Legislation coupled with relevant experience working in a wide range of settings and the ability to manage and monitor processes and undertaken Risk Assessments using the 5 step methodology.We can offer you:
