Job Description

Our services have supported thousands of people to make positive changes and build productive lives with a job, family, friends anda sense of community.What you will be doingThe post holder will be responsible for the delivery of high standards of daily treatments and supporting service users in their recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. Working as part of an integrated substance misuse team to deliver both clinical andpsychosocial interventions at HMP Downview.The post-holder will work in conjunction with the registered nurses to provide brief interventions, prescribed drug treatments, crisis interventions and all aspects of nursing care and be required to manage a case load of clients; providing them with appropriateharm reduction advice and guidance, developing recovery based care plans and delivering structured 1:1 and group work sessions.The service is delivered 7 days a week with flexible working on a rota basis.What we are looking for

  • 6 months experience minimum working in a healthcare setting
  • Experience of working with patients/service users in front line services
  • Driven to provide high quality clinical assessment and treatment
  • Ability to work with vulnerable adults presenting complex needs
  • As we recognise this role is advertised as full time we would also consider part time applications.
