As a BSL Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing support to children with hearing impairments, helping them to fully participate in the schoolcurriculum and social activities.Your responsibilities will include providing in-class support to children with hearing impairments, translating spoken language into BSL, facilitating communication between hearing-impaired children and their peers, and providing pastoral care to ensuretheir well-being.The successful candidate will be BSL qualified and will have experience working with children with hearing impairments. You will be able to work well as part of a team, have excellent communication skills, and be able to adapt to different learning styles.This is a rewarding role that offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and friendly environment, and make a real difference to the lives of young people.The position is offered on a PAYE basis and pays between £80 and £90 per day, depending on experience.
