Warehouse OperativeBirmingham£21,395.50Our client is a global market leader in metallic raw material supply chain solutions.As a growing manufacturing company, they are dedicated to providing exceptional service and maintaining a positive working environment.We are currently seeking a motivated and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility.Your primary responsibilities will include:o Working as part of a team and as an individual to ensure stock is sorted in a safe and controlled mannero Move stock around the facility safely using both MHE and by hand in line with your qualifications and trainingo Ensure all safety standards are maintained throughout your working day in line with our Health and Safety Policieso Pick and Pack Material in line with customer requirements ensuring quality standards are always maintained and any quality issues are reported straight awayo Always adhere to processes ensuring an accurate output in line with sales order to maintain customer satisfactiono Assisting with other general warehouse duties as assignedo Operate any Machinery you are requested to do so in line with your qualifications and trainingo Report any safety issues or vehicle defects immediately to your supervisoro Maintained KPIs in line with business requirementso Assist with 5s and general housekeeping to ensure a clean and safe environment is kept at all timeso Operate a guillotine when requested to do so and fully trainedo Cover other roles within the warehouse should the business have any unplanned absence or require holiday covero Conduct hardness and conductivity testing when requiredo Conduct XFR testing when requiredRequirements:o Counterbalance/reach Forklift licenceo Previous warehouse experienceo Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlineso Ability to work using own initiativeo Attention to detailo Good team working skillso Time managemento Honesty and integrityo Behave in line with our valuesSalary/ Working hours£21,395.50 per annumWeek 1 - Monday to Friday 06:00 - 14:00Week 2 - Monday to Wednesday 14:00 - 00:00Thursday 14:00 - 23:30Friday Non-working dayInterested to know more Please call Jodie Hodgson at Pertemps Birmingham Industrial Hagley Court or click apply today!
