Job Description

The Sales Ledger Administrator will be an integral part of our Accounting & Finance team in the Retail industry, based in Solihull. This role focuses on providing high-quality financial reports and managing customer accounts effectively.Client DetailsOur client is a leading player in the retail sector with a sizeable team spread across multiple locations.   • Preparing and distributing accurate financial reports.
  • Managing the sales ledger and ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately.
  • Reconciling customer accounts and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Communicating with customers regarding their accounts and payments.
  • Collaborating with the sales team to ensure all sales are recorded correctly.
  • Maintaining a high level of confidentiality regarding customer and company information.
  • Assisting in the preparation of end of month reports and accounts.
  • Identifying and suggesting improvements to current accounting processes.
ProfileA successful Sales Ledger Administrator should have:
  • A strong understanding of accounting principles and sales ledger processes.
  • Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
