Job Description

Job Title: Purchase LedgerLocation: TamworthPay: £23,000 - £27,000 per annumContract: Temp to PermImmediate StartAbout the Role:We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our clients team as a Purchase Ledger. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to further their career in finance.Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and input invoices accurately and efficiently into the system.
  • Match invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes.
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Prepare payment runs and process BACS payments.
  • Handle supplier queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assist with month-end procedures and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of transactions.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger role.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
