Job Description

A unique opportunity is available for a part-time Paraplanner to join a long-standing independent advice firm based in Sutton Coldfield. The position will ideally suit 20-25 hours per week and can flexed over full days or reduced hours to cover school runs etc.My client is an independent financial advice firm specialising in client-focused services that include investments, pensions and retirement planning, IHT planning and protection. This is a superb opportunity for an experienced Paraplanner wishing to work in relaxed and trusting environment with client-centric approach. Duties include:

  • Support Financial Planner with preparing client reviews and meetings
  • Provide research for client cases
  • Preparing client paperwork including suitability reports
  • Liaise with providers
  • Additional administration and client coordination duties may be required
Candidate requirements:
  • Experience in a similar role providing Paraplanner support on behalf of a Financial Adviser/Planner
  • Industry qualifications are preferred although not essential with relevant experience
  • Knowledge of advice cases including investments and pensions
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • A friendly approach when dealing with clients and colleagues
  • An appreciation for the regulatory requirement with financial planning and advice
