About our clientAn independent creative branding agency based in North Birmingham is looking for a WordPress Developer to join its brilliant team. This agency has creativity at the core of everything it does and youd be working on web builds for a whole host of clients from innovative B2B businesses to up and coming consumer brands. Their work isnt run of the mill, its pushing the boundaries of creativity and complexity; this agency create exceptional marketing campaigns for their clients across all channels and web is a big part of this. They are a team of around fifteen people, close knit and collaborative, with a working environment which allows a real team approach and theres also excellent opportunity for development.About the roleWorking within a small team of developers youd be leading your own projects from start to finish, with support where needed. Youll have a brilliant creative team around you to that youll be working with to come up with creative concepts and design, youll then be converting this design work creating websites using HTML, CSS and JS. Working on WordPress primarily, including WooCommerce and API integration, youll be building and integrating websites for a whole host of clients as well as creating the occasional email template.Who were looking forFor this role youll need to have experience in front end website development and be proficient in building sites within WordPress. Youll need to be able to build and test, create plug-ins and integrate 3rd party API as well as resolving issues.
