Job Description

Data EngineerAn excellent opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Data Engineer to join a world-class Cyber Security firm in Guildford, working on high profile and complex data solutions for major government bodies and private enterprises.The Company I work alongside a top Cyber Security and digital/technology transformation firm with an exceptional reputation and track record for the design and delivery of large scale, highly complex data and analytics solutions to clients across multiple industries. They way companies handle, store and interpret their data is more critical than ever, and this company are trusted advisers to governments and clients all over the world - they help them transform their data capabilities, and keep their data secure.The RoleWere now looking for Data Engineers to join the team in Guildford. You will be working as part of a client side team that defines and resolves complex data collection and data integration issues, so experience in these areas is vital to be successful. Youll bring an excellent consultative approach to the role - able to work closely with external stakeholders whilst remaining hands on in designing and building innovative solutions, working closely with Data Architects in an Agile environment.What we are looking for:The successful Data Engineer will have the following experience:

  • Excellent ETL development and tooling experience
  • Experience across Ab Initio, Informatica or Oracle ODI
  • Big Data / Open Source ETL Tools such as Talend
  • Database Management Systems
  • Application Testing Tools
  • Configuration Management and Version Control Tools
  • Testing strategies and tools
  • Infrastructure design
  • In return youll receive:
