Job Description

Are you a customer focused Helpdesk manager or I.T manager with previous experience in managing teams that have delivered an exceptional service to their customersYou will be responsible for training, supporting, developing and leading a bright and capable team, whilst also prioritising managing escalations and building strong relationships with Key Accounts, focusing on providing excellent communication and technicalsupport to all customers whilst meeting and exceeding set SLAs.To be successful as a Helpdesk manager you should have excellent interpersonal and conflict management skills. Ensuring that clients continuously receive a professional and efficient service.Job Title: Service Desk ManagerRole Type: Permanent - Full timeLocation: Surbiton - Office based - Opportunity for Hybrid work after probation.Salary: £40k - 45k per annumHours: Monday - Friday 40 hours per weekService Desk Manager Responsibilities:

  • Managing and supporting a team of help desk technicians.
  • Leading your team, providing training, and conducting performance and development plans.
  • Maintaining communication with clients and providing regular updates, detailed support and analysis.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving high priority technical issues.
  • Managing urgent escalations and ensuring any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Working to improve existing processes and procedures.
Service Desk Manager Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience as a Helpdesk Manager or as a leader in a technical support role.
  • Strong knowledge of SQL, APIs would be advantageous
  • Excellent customer Service skills
  • Proven examples of managing key B2B clients within a technical role
  • Strong technical background.
  • Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
