Job Description

Secondary School SENCO - SurreyWe are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary School SENCOr to join our school in Surrey in September. The successful candidate will be responsible the provision of SEN across the school from KS3-KS5Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering provision for students with SEN in schools.
  • Developing and implementing appropriate interventions and leading a team of LSAs to deliver these
  • Maintaining accurate student records, such as interventions and EHCPs
  • Communicating effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Keeping up-to-date with the latest teaching techniques and educational research
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in relevant to the role
  • A teaching qualification and relevant teaching experience
  • Strong knowledge of SENCO provision and related concepts
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Passion for teaching and mentoring students
  • Ability to line manage and mentor a team of LSAs
