Job Description

£55,000 up to £82,500*per annum - This isnt standing still. We are now looking for a Security and Compliance Senior Consultant who willbe at the forefront of ensuring systems are safe and secure from external and internal threats.Lidl is the biggest retailer in Europe, with more than 100 IT professionals in Lidl GB only, supporting stores, warehouses and our brand-new Head Office in Tolworth. This is an exciting, business facing opportunity to take the next step in your professionalcareer by getting exposure to the full Information Security portfolio - this isnt about having big plans, this is about making them happen.As a Security and Compliance Senior Consultant, you will be supporting the Head of Information Security in helping to safeguard the organisation.We have a hybrid working model for Head Office roles, with only 3 days in the office per week ensuring you have a flexible work life balance.What youll do

  • Drive the implementation and audit of a diverse range of Information Security policies within ISO 27001:2013 based Information Security Management System
  • Consult, manage and document risks related to IT systems and compliance with internal and external requirements including OWASP Top ten and ISO 27001:2013
  • Assess and manage information security related risks with internal departments and external suppliers, including coordination of penetration tests
  • Carry out periodic internal IT audit reviews and develop exiting Information Security policies
  • Consult and engage with IT stakeholders to ensure solutions are built with Secure by design in mind
  • Be involved in hands-on security incident management and resolution
  • Shape and deliver security awareness campaigns and training
  • Collect, analyse and report on security Key Performance Indicators
  • Establish and maintain a strong professional network within the organisation and contribute to the development and evolution of Information Security
What youll need
  • Practical experience in a business facing Information Security role
  • A solid working knowledge of Infrastructure and IT solution landscapes
  • Exceptional communicational skills with the ability of adapting language to different level and expertise in the business
  • An inquisitive attitude and a growth mind-set
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Appropriate qualifications in the Information Security field or demonstrable knowledge and experience
