Administrator to the Heads EATerm-time plus inset days and 12 days in the summer holidays (Mon-Fri – 6hrs per day - flexible but preferably 9-3)£32K pro rata / £16phrSurbitonMy client, a superb independent school who value their staff and are looking for an Administrator to support the EA to the Headteacher and support the wider runner of the Heads Office.The successful candidate will enjoy a professional supportive working environment where staff development is a high priority and there will be many Career development opportunities.The ideal candidate will have:• Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills• Proficient to advanced skills in a variety of computer software applications including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)• Strong time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and be agileSome of your Responsibilities will include:• Support the Executive Head and the Executive Assistant on a daily basis, providing a full range of comprehensive administrative support;• Responding to incoming calls; taking messages, following up and re-directing as required• Taking minutes across a variety of meetings• Diary management and arranging appointments, booking meeting rooms and conference facilities• Supporting with catering and facilities requirements, where needed, for above meetings and events• Organising travel and accommodation for Head• Performing data entry roles, including updating records and databases• Welcoming visitors• Editing and writing of Future Schools ReportsDesirables:• Experience of working in a school environment an advantage but not essential• Minute taking experience• Excellent IT skills• Professional and friendly demeanour• Good understanding of Safeguarding and GDPR*The successful candidate/s will be subject to a DBS check*Please apply below or call the REED Raynes Park office for more detail.
