Job Description

In line with Crystal Ski, Lakes and Mountains current and future growth plans as we continually add new properties, resorts and destinations to our portfolio we are now actively recruiting a Product & Planning Manager to support our wider range of products.The Product + Planning manager will take responsibility for destinations performance, be it trading margin, cost control, customer NPS scores or ancillary performance.The successful candidate will optimise their product with the brief of delivering superior business yields by ensuring the best mix of accommodations aligned with optimum aviation capacity and capability, marketed appropriately through a wide range of channelsboth off- and online. They will search for growth opportunities as well as ensure current destinations are aligned with the strategic view. The candidate will also monitor market factors including demand, customer feedback (internal and external) to ensurewe offer the best product for our customers at all times. The Product & Planning Managers will also influence overseas costs to maximise destination P&Ls.The role is based in Surbiton, but at TUI we believe work is something you do not somewhere you go. Therefore we are happy to offer flexible working arrangements for this role and the successful candidate will work a blend of office and home-working.Pleasenote the closing date for applications is 7th July.ABOUT THE JOB

  • Lead the day-to-day management and future planning of your product, engaging and guiding stakeholders across the business with clear direction to achieve goals.
  • Accountable for the delivery of KPI targets relating to destination both commercial and customer orientated, use online and digital KPIs to quantify demand for different products and periods, feeding analysis and actions to the destination, yield and purchasingteams.
  • Create and implement a destination level strategy that supports the overall business strategy considering short, mid and long-term goals whist ensuring customer needs are met and ultimately identifies opportunities for growth.
  • Planning and reviewing our charter and 3PF flying programme to maximise volume and profitability ensuring the wider performance of TUI UK & I is taken into consideration.
  • Clear understanding of the competitor landscape within product area, identifying the strengths and weaknesses of competitors products.
  • Management and planning of commitment, briefing requirements to Purchasing and then constructing business cases that support the need to take the committed risk.
  • Work with sales and marketing channels to ensure that your product is accurately depicted and key selling points are clear to the customer.
  • Line management of Product & Planning Executive, focusing on talent management within the team to create an environment that motivates people to thrive.
ABOUT YOU
  • Experience of Destination/Product Management preferred
  • Highly numerate with strong commercial understanding and proven record of delivering towards targets.
  • Creative and forward thinking with a clear vision of how to develop your destinations performance.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of yield management.
  • Strong knowledge of different marketing channels, both online and offline.
  • Microsoft Excel experience with ability to create spreadsheets with complex functions
