Client Ledger/Credit Controller Our client is seeking a Client Ledger/Credit Control Assistant to contribute to the smooth running of the finance department. You will work closely with the Accounts Manager, Assistant Accountant and the Finance Director to ensure that invoices issued by theteam are paid in full and on time. The role requires that you are comfortable communicating clearly with both individual and organisations. You will need to be familiar with accounts receivable procedures and reconciliation of month-end accounts. Positivityis key in everything our client does. Whether you’re collaborating with colleagues, communicating with clients or focusing on the task at hand, their approach is to always remain constructive.The successful candidate will have experience with client ledgers; specifically in Credit control, issuing client invoices and statements and answering client invoice queries. You will be experienced in using Sage Line 50 and ideally have AAT qualificationsor similar as well as being highly numerate.You will be responsible for issuing and posting invoices to clients ledger, issuing statements to clients, managing and updating credit limits for clients on Sage, monitoring overdue balances, corresponding with clients to chase overdue balances and to answerclient questions, supporting the Accounts Manager and Finance Director in producing ad hoc reports and financial information, managing client on-boarding processes including credit checks and Sage ledger set up, auditing draft invoices to ensure they meetall necessary criteria including application of VAT, nominal ledger details, Purchase orders etc, maintaining client files and supporting the Accounts Manager with other financial tasks as necessary.You will have excellent time management, excellent customer service skills and be analytical with strong attention to detail, persistence and determination. You will have excellent organisational skills and be a team player with good written and oral communicationskills. Good Excel and MS Office essential.You will be able to work 15 - 20 hours per week in the office and after successful completion of probation, you would be able to perhaps work 1 day at home. You will be able to split your hours between Tuesday - Thursday. £13.50 - 14.50P.H
