Job Description

BarberWe are looking for a creative and talented barber / male hairdresser for our shop located in Sunningdale, Ascot.Our shop has been running for over 8 years with a quality clientele base and friendly atmosphere.This is a great opportunity for the right applicant looking to step up and join a family run business with an excellent reputation in the area.About Us:We are a reputable barber shop providing an extensive range of grooming services for men.With over 31 years of experience in the business, we have gained an enviable reputation for delivering outstanding customer service. Whether that is a fashionable haircut or a regular trim, you can rely on us to provide a fabulous grooming service.We have a team of highly skilled barbers providing professional male grooming services at exclusive prices. From hair cutting and beard shaping to styling and more.We understand that our employees are our greatest asset, and we reward them accordingly.Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming clients and consulting with them on their desired hairstyles.
  • Cutting and trimming hair according to clients instructions.
  • Styling hair using chemical solutions and styling tools.
  • Shaving, trimming, and shaping clients beards and moustaches.
  • Washing and conditioning clients hair.
  • Ensuring that combs, scissors, razors, and other instruments are cleaned and sanitized after each use.
  • Supervising apprentices and trainees.
  • Providing hairstyle suggestions to clients.
  • To achieve your set weekly targets.
About You:
  • Candidates should have experience and confidence in both scissor and clipper cuts as well as hot towels
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • State barbers license.
  • Sound knowledge of current hairstyles and trends.
  • The ability to follow instructions.
  • The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience with in-nose and ear waxing is a bonus.
  • Experience of full body waxing (qualified) is also a bonus but not essential.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary £20,000 - £25,000 depending on experience.
  • Full time position as well as part time position is available.
  • Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
  • Zero hours contract until probation period ends 3 to 6 months
Hours of Work:
  • Tuesday to Saturday. The hours of work are negotiable.
