Job Description

Goods in Quality inspector £26k (1 year Fixed Term Contract)· 37.5 hours per week (mon - fri)· Overtime available · Pension scheme

  • 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays
    • We currently have a super opportunity for an experienced goods in quality Inspector to join a leading Aerospace logistics business near Sunbury on Thames. Key Responsibilities:
  • The acceptance of goods received into the warehouse.
  • Inspect all goods against purchase order and incoming paperwork for quantity, part number and that the correct release is given. Inspect items according to the companys sample check procedure where appropriate
  • Ensure goods are labelled and stored in the correct area as part of the goods inwards process.
  • To document Quality NCRs as the need arises for all items placed into Quarantine ensuring that there is sufficient detail on any progress made with the supplier to ensure a suitable handover when an escalation is required. .
    • Required experience:Strong aerospace experience Familiar with ISO9001:2000 and AS9120 Quality Standard Ability to use inspection equipment.
