Job Description

Summary We’re looking for a proactive and creative Senior Programming & Partnerships Officer who can plan, design, install and deliver our programme of seasonal and special events here at Brimham Rocks. Due to an internal secondment we have this new excitingopportunity where youll really be able to utilise your creative flair and people skills. Hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week. This will include some weekend working and duty management. Rotas are issued in advance and well always try to accommodate other commitments where possible. Contract: Fixed term until November 2024 Salary: £26,169pa Interviews: 22nd November- we would prefer to conduct face to face interviews, however we can accommodate virtual interviews for those who would like to apply but live outside of the area and would relocate for this role. Click here for more information about this location What youll be doing You’ll be responsible for the creative development and delivery of an inspiring and engaging visitor programme, helping us to deliver our strategic aims for the property. You’ll use programmingto encourage repeat and new visits, meet the needs of a diverse audience, and help visitors connect with our cause. As well as collaborating with other teams on property, you’ll be working to build and maintain relationships with external partners to help us deliver a high-quality and consistent programme. You will be managing a part time Visitor Experience Officer and volunteersto ensure the smooth delivery of all activities. You’ll also be part of a duty management team, ensuring that day-to-day operations run smoothly and ensuring a fantastic day out for our visitors. Who were looking for To deliver this role successfully, ideally youll have:

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills e.g. budget management, keeping and updating records, meeting deadlines etc.
  • Great people and communication skills, establishing positive relationships with both external and internal collaborators
  • The ability to work independently as well as with a team, contributing to a positive, inclusive, and productive place for staff and volunteers
  • To be able to balance competing priorities and demands
  • Experience in delivering visitor programmes and events and/or working with community or commercial partners to deliver events and activities
  • Understanding of an audience-led approach and the ability to evaluate the impact and use feedback to further develop an offer or event
  • To be someone creative, ambitious and able to draw creative ideas from their team.
