Job Description

Production Team Leader, Larkhall, Salary NegotiableWe are recruiting for a Production Supervisor to work at our clients site in Larkhall.Aside from working for a market leading business, there are a whole host of benefits to take advantage of if you join them. What to expect as a Production Team Leader
  • Working a three shift rotational pattern - Back Shift, Early Shift and Night Shift
  • No weekends unless its overtime - standard shifts all worked Monday to Friday
  • Leading the team to deliver the daily production plan and the department KPIs
  • Communicating shift production targets and objectives to the team at shift start as well as ensuring an effective handover completed at shift changeover
  • Ensuring quality of product maintained to both internal and customer standards
  • Ensuring all direct reports comply with internal procedures including work instructions, use of equipment, product quality, housekeeping and 5S
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies participating in key improvement activity as required
  • Identify opportunities for improvement within production areas utilising activities such as Gemba Walks, 5S Audits, Process Audits, Waste Walks etc.
  • Ensuring all direct reports comply with company policies and procedures such as break times, start / finish times, absence reporting, holiday management and overtime
  • Identifying training needs and implement ongoing development to ensure operators maintain and exceed required standards within production area

  • Experience of leading a team within a fast paced manufacturing and production environment
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
  • Resilience and self motivation with a genuine drive for achieving production targets
  • Experience of championing continuous improvement methodologies
  • Good IT skills with an ability to use data to interpret action required
  • A solid work history
  • An enthusiastic can do attitude
