Job Description

Hours of Work: Larkhall, Strutherhill Industrial Estate - Monday to Friday 8am till 4:30pmTemporary Ongoing PositionSkills Requirement:

  • Valid RTITB Counterbalance forklift licence - Necessary
  • Minimum 12 months experience of driving forklift in a work environment
  • Numerate & Literate
    • Search Consultancy are seeking experienced Counterbalance & Reach Forklift Drivers to work with our client in their stores department based in Larkhall. This position is a temporary full time basis working a day shift Monday to Friday.Duties in this position will include moving pallets of stock to loading area, loading pallets onto wagons in preparation for despatch, unloading trailers, putting away stock into warehouse locations and logging pallets loaded / unloaded and volumes to ensure accurate record of stock movements.Please also be aware that this position is predominantly based outside the Warehouse - candidates must be prepared for the various weather changes.Suitable candidates will have previous experience of working in a distribution or warehouse environment, be able to work to deadlines, work well under pressure and be flexible and adaptable in a changing environmentSearch is an equal opportunities recruiter and we welcome applications from all suitably skilled or qualified applicants, regardless of their race, sex, disability, religion/beliefs, sexual orientation or age.
