SEN Learning SupportAre you a Teaching Assistant or support worker who has experience working with young people with additional needs Are you looking for a long-term role supporting children within either a mainstream or SEN setting Here at Education Solutions we are recruitingfor a number of Teaching Assistant roles to work on a 1-2-1 basis and within groups within schools in and around Greater Manchester. Good behaviour management and experience working with special educational needs is essential. This is due to start from September2022. This is initially a temporary role but will become more permanent for the right person.The school is a nurturing environment that caters for children within the Manchester and Stockport areas and the children are ASC/AS and need extra support on a daily basis to help them to progress and learn but academically and emotionallyThe following is desirable but not essential:Experience as a teaching assistant in a primary or secondary settingHave the desire to make a differenceHave been working with ASD, ADHD, Complex Needs or SEMHAble to deal with some challenging behaviourUnderstand the needs of your dedicated pupil and be flexible and proactiveUnderstand that there might be some personal care involved.In return you will:Be involved in whole of school life and support an excellent SEN departmentBe part of an outstanding team and have variety in your roleGreat working environment.Education Solutions is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
