Field Service Engineer - Lighting Towers Job Title: Field Service Engineer - Lighting TowersIndustry Sector: Main Contractors, Sub Contractors, House builders, Local Authorities, Social Construction and Hire industry, Lighting Towers, Electrical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electrical Technician, Electrics, Lighting Systems, Fire Security Systems,Security Products, Field Technician, Technician, Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Field Engineer, Technical EngineerArea to be covered: NorthBased: North WestRemuneration: £25,000 - £33,000 + overtimeBenefits: Company Vehicle + benefits packageThe role of the Field Service Engineer - Lighting Towers will involve:

  • Field Service Technician position undertaking the servicing, testing, inspection, repairs and installation of lighting towers
  • Positively representing the company when working on site supporting with all product queries
  • 60% of your time will be field based working on site, the remaining 40% of the time based at Merseyside depot
  • When at the depot will be carrying out repairs of products and preparing rental equipment for subsequent hires
  • Working competently whilst unsupervised or as part of a team
  • High levels of motivation, creativity and an ambassador for the company. Having the ability and drive to deliver excellent customer service to stakeholders
The ideal applicant will be a Field Service Engineer - Lighting Towers with:
  • Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Auto electrician, diesel engine, single-phase generator and other electrical/mechanical backgrounds are all of interest
  • Must possess sound electrical knowledge/qualification and have a proven background through recognised apprenticeship or similar
  • Ability to manage your own workload
  • Ideally will have LOLER or LEEA lifting qualifications
  • Must hold full clean UK driving licence
  • Good knowledge of quality, environmental health and safety directives
