Job Description

We are excited to be working with a large international manufacturer who are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Distribution manager. The purpose of this role is to manage the full storage and distribution function within the site which runs 24/7.Within this role, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum utilisation of all space and resources to enable the large number of transactions to flow with minimal disruption, to engaging and developing the warehouse and movement teams to provide an operationthat delivers the highest level of accuracy, efficiency, and service to both internal and external customers.Role

Responsible for team of operatives ensuring orders are run to a timely manager.
Manage maintenance and repair of warehouse and material handling equipment.
Provide direction and insight company wide.
Manage performance and ensure appropriate training and development plans are in place.
Support manufacturing operations and stores team
Plan and implement new process developments with the site.
Support with Continuous Improvement initiatives across the site.

Person

Strong people manager- having managed a team of up to 50/60 people.
Proven experience in a fast- paced distribution warehouse - FMCG background
Good ERP systems knowledge. Ideally AX Dynamic and Microsoft Excel
Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with customers, 3PL and other service providers.

This role would suit someone who is looking for a busy fast paced environment.
