You will be making a huge difference to prisoners pending release so they have the support they need to successfully re-settle into society.Based at HMP Highpoint, a category CMen’s Prison in Suffolk. You will work with prisoners to help them prepare for release with a big focus on securing employment. For each client you meet – you will make an assessment, put in place a plan and provide them support around employment, housing, health, family relationships as well as helping them develop confidence and motivation. You will be great at networking, as you work within the prison in partnership with other providers to access specialist services.Please apply via this advert. This charity are seeking people with a background within criminal justice, employment support, or supported housing. Graduates with a criminology degree are also welcome to apply. People who have previously worked as an Employment Advisor, Probation Officer, Case Manager or Resettlement Officer may well be interested in this role. The stating salary is £23k - £24k (depending on experience, however once established in the role the salary scale goes up to £27k in increments based on performance.
