Job Description

HMP Highpoint is situated on the A143 at Stradishall, which is approximately 7 miles from Haverhill when heading to Bury St Edmunds and within 20 miles of the A14 to the north and the M11 to the west. The prison is split across two sites - North and South. Healthcare is provided:Care UK are the Health in Justice Market leader, providing healthcare services to offenders across the country. Our model of care is our Wellbeing Approach – an integrated, comprehensive approach in recognition of the fact prisoners are a socially-excluded group with healthcare needs which are complex and often associated with poor outcomes. It adopts the premise no single health/well being factor can be taken in isolation of other motivational issues which might impact a person’s care.To ensure the continued quality of care at HMP Highpoint, we’re looking for an Administration and Data Lead to support us and the existing team in this new venture.In return for your hard work you will..Receive an annual salary of up to £24,250 - dependent on experience. Youll also get a number of benefits including a company contributory pension scheme, 25 days annual leave plus 8 public bank holidays plus CPD and re-validation support.Other benefits include cycle to work scheme plus training and clinical development opportunities.What do we need from you so that you can do the jobYou will be working as a Team Lead within a complex environment. You will be responsible for managing effective patient centered administration, including appointment scheduling for clinics and external hospital appointments and supporting the team in the day to day running of the service. Including recruitment activity, working patterns, annual leave, sickness and attendance monitoring.As well as high level data capture accuracy and carry out data validation checks for scheduled internal and external reporting requirements.You will have experience of working in a healthcare administrative environment and knowledge of how to use the electronic patient records systems and good use of Microsoft packages (Outlook, Word, Excel etc.).You will be able to work with challenging behaviors and be non-judgmental with your attitude.Next stepsIf you are shortlisted, you will be contacted by the Internal Recruiter for this role.
