Job Description

HandypersonNewton Abbot, DevonCirca £35,000 per annumWe are seeking a skilled and versatile Handyperson to join our team in Newton Abbott. As a key member of our facility management crew, you will play a crucial role in delivering a range of services, including decoration, carpentry, and providing supportto electrical and mechanical engineers. The position involves diverse tasks such as space planning/office moves, re-lamping, emergency lighting tests, and plantroom inspections.Schedule:One week - Work on the weekend and the following week weekend offTwo days off during the weekCustomer Relations:Develop and maintain positive relationships with customer representativesEnsure professional deliveryDriving Duties:

  • Transporting residents to hospital appointments, days out, short trips, etc.
  • Qualifications or Required Experience:
  • City & Guilds (C&G) qualifications or equivalent
  • General electrical knowledge
  • Extensive experience in M&E building services in a corporate environment
  • Knowledge of the use of CAFM (Computer-Aided Facility Management) systems
