Are you an experienced Production Engineer looking for a new opportunity Want to work with a world renowned lighting organistation and work with some of the leading interior designers on exciting and exclusive projects This is a great opportunity towork with some of the industries finest in a progressive design-led company.The role offers an exciting opportunity for someone to be an integral part of the team ensuring all existing and new products are optimised and up to date for manufacturing and assembly; working cross departmental within the business.The production engineer will work with design, production, quality and supply chain to ensure all components have the correct collateral, ie drawings/work instructions etc, in place and to standard for target costs, manufacturing, assembly and quality controls.You will;- Create and reconcile all 2D/3D models of components and product SKUs- Structure the digital library ensuring all drawings are up to date and relevant- Ensure all assembly, quality, electrical testing and packing guides are created and updated- Prepare technical files for products: CE / UKCA / cULus / Declarations- Ensure all packaging is suitable for export, tested to the required standards and consistently reviewed and updated accordingly.- Working with production, supply chain and design for optimal assembly and manufacturing methods- Offer a solution led approach to production engineering, in line with overall business strategyWe would like;- A degree or above in engineering or equivalent- Excellent knowledge of solid works or the equivalent and associated file management software.- Knowledge on BS for lighting & regulations (CE, UKCA, cULus)- Strong project management and communication skills- Minimum of 5 years experience of product engineering development for manufacturing- Proficient in Microsoft office and production planning, bar coding and MRP (Unleashed) systems- Full clean Driving licenseOther relevant information;This is an excellent opportunity for your personal development.
