  • Basic data entry
  • Managing purchase ledger and sales ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • VAT returns across a wide variety of SME businesses
    • It is essential that you are proficient in the use of one or more of the following packages
  • Sage,
  • Xerox
  • Quickbooks
  • Kashflow
    • It would be useful if you have knowledge/used Sage payrollThe key skills:
  • Good attention to detail
  • Have access to a car - so that they can go to sites (all local travel)
  • Committed and able to work on your own (at client sites) or with a low level of supervision - the self drive to get the job done
  • Bookkeeping experience
  • Comfortable with numbers
  • Confident, you have to be able to represent yourself and the business and give clients confidence that you are capable
  • Good communication skills - you have to be able to handle the client face to face and also via telephone and in writing
  • Keen to learn
