We are looking for someone with proven experienceof motivating, coaching, and leading teams with a hands on approach in a manufacturing environment. This role may be a great opportunity for an experienced Supervisor or Team Leader to take a step into your first Production manager position. You will be leadinga team of up to 3 Supervisors and around 40 colleagues (working over 2 shifts) in the delivery of our production plans while personally overseeing and ensuring quality, safety, and adherence to processes.You will be driving improvements across the site with the support of our site Operations Manager, applying lean principles, continuously improving processes and striving to ensure we have an engaged team working together to achieve site goals and objectives.Our operation is one of fabricating timber roof systems, using cutting/saw machinery to cut timber to required lengths which are then assembled using jigs and fixing systems.
