As the leading LPG provider in the UK, the Operations team at Calor Gas are looking to expand our team and welcome an ambitious Maintenance Technician.As aMaintenance Technician you will play an integral role in ensuring an efficient site maintenance service, encompassing routine preventative maintenance as well as addressing machinery breakdowns when required.At our Stoney Stanton location, yourMaintenance expertise will drive the seamless operation of our services, providing top-tier mechanical solutions will enable us to maintain the highest standards of quality.What Were Looking For:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience within production maintenance environments.
• Education to at least GCSE Grade C or equivalent standard, including proficiency in Maths, English, and Science.
• Holding a recognised City & Guilds certification in an engineering discipline.
• A thorough and up-to-date comprehension of prevailing Engineering Standards.
• Proficiency in diagnosing mechanical issues and adeptness in executing necessary repairs.
• Proficiency in various skills including fabricating, pneumatics, Arc, MIG and gas welding/cutting, as well as hydraulics.
• Demonstrated capability to interpret technical drawings with precision.
• Basic familiarity with operating lathes, mills, and drills.

Desirable:

• NEBOSH/IOSH Safety qualification
• COMPEX Qualification

What Youll Do:

• Swiftly diagnose equipment breakdowns and execute precise repairs.
• Skilfully conduct planned maintenance tasks to ensure optimal operational performance.
• Expertly install mechanical equipment with precision and proficiency.
• Apply adept modifications to plant equipment according to meticulous Calor Specifications.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach by promptly reporting hazards and equipment defects.
• Display flexibility by being available for short notice shift coverage and extended hours as needed.
• Maintain meticulous record-keeping by completing all necessary paperwork promptly and meticulously to meet the highest scrutiny standards.
