Our people live and breathe our SPIRIT values; we are the place for spirited people.More about your role As our Graduate Quantity Surveyor within the 2022 Emerging Talent Programme, youll join our Places Development team to deliver the next phase of the Chapelton construction project.The two-year programme will support you to develop the core skills, behaviours and technical ability to develop into a Project Quantity Surveyor or similar roles.This role will support with the new phase of our Chapelton development, including 200 units of houses, flats and commercial spaces. Youll work closely with the onsite team and as you gain in ability and confidence, youll take ownership of more complextasks. As the project develops through the building process your roles and responsibilities will change.From tendering for work packages, arranging suppliers, ensuring project budgets through to, working with our team of subcontractors, this role will allow you to experience every aspect of the development.More about youYoull be a recent graduate with a degree in a related field such as BSc Quantity Surveyor. We can support you through your RICS pathway and have appropriate mentors as part of the team. A clear passion for this industry and an inquisitive mind will setyour application apart.Communication is key to success in this role, youll have the ability to change your style to meet your audience, from subcontractors, to architects through to the end customer youll offer a people first approach.
