Job Description

SAC Consulting is part of SRUC (Scotlands Rural College), turning research into advice and advantage: we deliver leading edge advice and consultancy to over 12,000 clients in Scotland and the North of England. Our consultancy services include crops & soilhealth, livestock management, business planning, food and drink product development, forestry & woodland management, climate change mitigation, rural diversification, renewables and sustainability.A unique and interesting opportunity has arisen for an Administrator to join our Stonehaven Consultancy office.This role will include the following duties:

  • to provide support to the existing staff in SAC Stonehaven specifically to cover the busy IACS period
  • taking phone bookings and organising consultants workloads
  • updating spreadsheets
  • online and cloud based data entry
  • all administration support as requested by line manager and general office duties
The successful candidate will have a good standard of secondary education (Highers or equivalent including English and Maths) or be able to demonstrate equivalent experience. Experience of Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, an ability to be accurate,adaptable, and previous experience of working in an office environment is essential.This is a full time post on a fixed term contract for 12 weeks.Placement on the salary scale will be dependent on qualifications and experience.Closing date: 13 February 2022Please note that CVs will not be accepted without a completed application form.
