Job Description

Our client in Stone are going through a significant period of growth and are looking to expand their current team with a Warehouse Shift Manager to work 6.00am - 6.00pm 4 on 4 off.Reporting directly to the Operations Director, your role will include but not limited to:

  • Managing the daily running of the Warehouse Operation as part of the Warehouse Management Team
  • Ensuring company KPIs are met and regular reporting to the Operations Director
  • Ensuring compliance with H&S legislation and company SOPs
  • Management of circa 70 employees, including HR duties (timekeeping, absence reporting)
  • Identifying training requirements within the department
  • Conducting effective shift handover to ensure a smooth running of the business
  • Utilising our WMS to ensure efficiencies throughout the Warehouse
  • Distribution and replenishment of consumables, PPE etc.
  • Consistently working towards new and improved efficiencies to support our ever-growing business
  • Be a key player within the Operations Team to discover and implement processes and efficiencies where required.
    • Requirements:-
  • Have a flexible and adaptable approach to the needs of the business
  • Has worked at or equal to Shift Manager Level within a similar environment
  • A tenacious and effective approach to meeting and exceeding targets and delivering an outstanding client experience
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead a dynamic team of circa 70 personnel
  • Have a sound working knowledge of WMS
  • Ability to think on own initiative
