Job Description

Permanent full timeWould you like to work for a successful engineering company who specialise in the design, manufacture, support control systems, bespoke solutions and turnkey projects to a range of sectorsWorking as an Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will:

  • Undertake design risk assessments to support detailed design proposals
  • Responsible for preparing detailed electrical specifications
  • Review of vendor data and drawings for all electrical equipment and package plant, motor control centres, power distribution panels and field equipment panels
  • Interpreting and understanding client requirements from client documents (drawings, specifications, correspondence, etc.)
  • Communication with client, external design resources and subcontractors to ensure compliance with specification
  • Produce I/O configuration and I/O lists, material specifications and bills of material
    • To be successful for the Senior Electrical Design Engineer role, were looking for:
  • A Time served apprenticeship or relevant Electrical engineering qualification.
  • Essential to have experience with Autocad / Autocad Electrical or Eplan within a design perspective.
  • Would be a benefit if you have exposure of working with various PLC platforms
  • Additionally, you will have electrical design experience with a good knowledge of electrical regulations/safety standards.
  • A Time served apprenticeship or relevant Electrical engineering qualification.
  • Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and be experienced with client facing.
    • Benefits:£35,000 to £45,000 pa basic salary with pension and free on-site parking.
